Imaginext Battle Castle from Fisher-Price and Vivendi Universal

Imaginext Battle Castle is fantasy game with a knights in shining armor theme from Fisher-Price and Vivendi Universal for boys ages 5 and up. The goal is to become king by battling rival knights, enemy ogres and even a dragon.  Kids will build castles with all the normal castles things: cannons, drawbridges and towers, and earn swords and armor for the final battle to defeat Dragomont’s dragon. The game offers excellent 3-D graphics and realistic sounds for your journey to become king of the castle in this medieval world of dungeons and dragons.  Kids will find 26 adventures for hours of fun.

The game is recommended for boys, but I know several girls (including my 8-year-old daughter, Becky ) who love battling monsters and enjoyed this medieval adventure. As a bonus, they include a small plastic figure of a knight in shining armor, which includes a helmet, a lance and a sword. Perfect for kids who like to play the dungeons and dragons type role-playing game. In fact, both my girls are in the process of playing dungeons and dragons. This is similar to a board game involving dice, pencil and paper, and does not use a personal computer.

Imaginext Battle Castle sells for $19.99 and will run on any multimedia PC, Pentium II 266 MHz or faster, 64 MB RAM with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP and a 24x CD-ROM drive. It also runs on a Power Mac G3 300 MHz or faster with 64 MB RAM and a 24x CD-ROM drive.
